KeBar features Keith Barber on guitar, harmonica, and vocals, Jeff Shuman on keyboards and vocals, Ray Williard on bass and vocals, and Brian Griswold on drums. The members started learning their instruments at a young age, playing in school bands and teenage rock bands. As young adults that passion turned into professional endeavors.
Keith toured with show bands and played with popular country and rock bands in Connecticut.
Jeff got his degree in music and taught in Springfield, Massachusetts, Putnam High School, in addition to playing with local bands.
Ray has been a long time member of the Daily Planet, a Hartford area favorite, and spent 19 years playing for Joe Bouchard (a founding member of Blue Oyster Cult).
Brian spent a dozen years in Nashville performing at Opryland Theme Park, toured with “The Girls Next Door” and recorded a Gospel album with The Cumberland Boys. He also played on TV jingles and promotional demos for various artists.
